Rule 2.5. Alternative procedure for commencing misdemeanor actions triable in Superior Court

In the discretion of the prosecutor, a misdemeanor action triable in Superior Court may be commenced by filing a complaint in the Justice Court as under Rule 2.2(b) and prosecuted thereafter according to the procedures applicable in felony cases.
